Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TaskLite ("the Service"), operated by TaskLite ("the Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TaskLite is a cloud-based project management platform that provides task management, time tracking, attendance monitoring, AI-powered features, collaborative tools, and related services. The Service is available via web browser at app.tasklite.net.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Free Plan & Subscription

  • Every account starts on the Free plan: no card, no timer, 2 operators, one published app and 100 monthly active external users.
  • A paid plan (Team or Production) is required only to add operators, published apps or external users beyond the Free limits; nothing that already exists is removed.
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually based on the number of operators (owner, admin or editor members) or the workspace plan.
  • Prices are listed in USD and may be updated with 30 days' prior notice.
  • All payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and documentation, is owned by TaskLite and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data protection seriously and implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Customer content is hosted on AWS in the European Union (Ireland). Where your use of the Service involves processing of personal data subject to the GDPR or UK GDPR, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is incorporated into these Terms and applies automatically; a copy is available at [email protected].

8. AI Features

TaskLite includes AI-powered features that assist with task management and productivity. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only and should be reviewed before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. Your data may be processed by third-party AI providers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with prior notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control.

10. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms.
  • Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted.
  • You may request a data export before account deletion by contacting support.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskLite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.
